SECURITY PERSONNEL TRAINING -

TO SECURITY INDUSTRY AUTHORITY (SIA) STANDARDS

The Private Security Industry Act 2001 requires that all staff in the industry sit nationally recognised courses in security 'job training' and 'conflict management'. Once these courses have been passed and competency in these subjects proven, a licence to work will be issued by the 'Security Industry Authority' (SIA)

Course objectives are to achieve uniform understanding and proficiency in all aspects of pro-active and reactive security skills and conflict management.

Our instructors deliver nationally recognised level 2 security industry training courses for static and patrol security guards, retail guards, guards for educational establishments, door supervisors, and CCTV - Public Space Surveillance Operations. In conjunction with: Skills for Security & The National Open College Network (NOCN)

OPERATIONAL SECURITY MANAGEMENT TRAINING

This course is designed to assist managers in pro-active advanced preparation. This will enable them to guarantee that the personnel under their command respond efficiently with the minimum of disruption to the business environment. Training includes:

• Risk assessments and the collation of information
• Formalising security plans and briefings
• Crisis management and the effective use of resources
• Liaison with local authorities, controlling information, (the media and press)
• Advanced emergency medical procedures including major trauma management
  

EXECUTIVE & PERSONAL SECURITY AWARENESS TRAINING

A course for both corporate clients and private individuals- includes:

• Static and mobile security awareness
• Crisis management instruction
• Hostage and kidnap response and survival techniques
• Defensive and evasive driving
• Basic emergency medical procedures including trauma management
• Personal security planning and conduct
• Dealing with confrontation (Verbal and physical)
